SHAWN BROWN-BRUMFIELD is the founder and executive director of Pasadena Rosebud Academy Charter School. She was called to the field of education after receiving her bachelors in economics. Ms. Brumfield has been an educational practitioner for over 25 years and continues to serve as an educational leader, colleague, and mentor. She is a proud mom of two amazing children. She currently resides in California.

Shawn Brown-Brumfield has been called to the field of education and for over 25 years has been living her passion and purpose. She has dedicated her life to improving student learning and providing students with a positive educational experience that transcends into their future. Her extensive knowledge and experience in the field of education includes administrative, operational and curricular. This range of educational experience has given her a broad and detailed look into the inner workings of school business. She is a practitioner and endeavors to share her knowledge and wisdom with educational leaders, governing boards, policy makers, parents, and the community. The calling on her life continues to motivate and inspire her to work towards improving education for ALL students.
